Founded in 1992
Mike Miller and Jim McGing began practicing law together in 1992 while Jim continued his Public service.
Different professional roads brought them to this point in their careers. Mike has been a personal injury attorney helping clients navigate our legal system to ensure just compensation for their injuries and has obtained numerous six and seven-figure settlements for them over the years. Jim, meanwhile, served the public interest in a myriad of capacities. Most recently he served as a Judge in the Circuit Court of Cook County. Jim’s retirement from the bench brought an opportunity to once again serve clients as a private attorney with all of the unique experiences gained from his tenure with the Judiciary.
Since 2019, Mike and Jim have practiced together. Our practice fuses unique skill sets and experiences and is dedicated to serving the needs of our clients. The friendship that began so many years ago in the hallways of St. Patrick High School has endured and grown into the law firm of Miller & McGing.
